In creating the new OFS Brands Atlanta showroom, Warner Summers was challenged to revisit the customer experience through showcasing the furniture solutions, creativity and energy of a great workplace company. Within the evolving needs of the workplace, healthcare and education sectors the showroom needed to be a flexible canvas to represent the blending of functions and collaborations within the tailored design concepts. Warner Summers was tasked to create a clean backdrop where the furniture would be paramount. The primary influencer on design of this space was the sophisticated branding and logo that already had been developed. The logo itself is comprised of 6 overlapping hexagons. This triggered a design concept which involved de-constructing the logo into architectural elements within the showroom.  Some of the walls were considered as an interpretation of the logo - with pushing and pulling of points to create a faceted and sculptural element. The hexagon was further applied as a floating ceiling element. This created a sense of scale within the showroom which now appeared as a quasi long-span structural space.  Flexibility of lighting was also very important and a considerable effort was made to utilize state-of-the-art technology. Warner Summers was also tasked to improve natural lighting. This was accomplished by adding windows and removing paint on existing sky lights. All project objectives were met, key being a reconfigurable space that showcased furniture, products and vignettes of furniture concepts in addition to increasing traffic of designers and end-user within the showroom, which is now an inviting space that embraces and enhances the customer experience.
